FARMING STANDARDS

At Grover Family Farms our farming standards are at their highest by implementing minimum till practices, drip irrigation, local composting and using natural pest control practices. With over 20 years of combined experience in organic farming and compost, we maintain the tools to enrich our crops and keep them free from any residues or contaminates.

MINIMUM

TILL PRACTICES

Minimum tillage, also referred to as conservation tillage, is a soil conservation method which minimizes soil disruption.

This reduces the exposure of bare ground between plants and the chances of disease while increasing crop yield.

DRIP

IRRIGATION

The biggest benefit of our drip irrigation system is that it saves water! Drip irrigation extends watering times for plants while preventing soil erosion and nutrient runoff. It’s applied directly and only where the plants need it most.

COMPOSTING

We use a rich blend of sustainably harvested compost that we make ourselves. By utilizing fallen trees, yard waste from local cities and more,  our soil supplies the plants with beneficial microorganisms and keeps them at the ideal pH level.

PESTICIDE POLICY

We never use pesticides on our hemp plants. Plain and simple.  All natural pest

control practices are used in place of traditional, harmful pesticides, producing extractions that are free of any residues or residual contaminants.
